Tyson's farewell!!

This weekend my mom, McKayla, Stephen, and me went on a super duper short trip to Idaho! My cousin Tyson was having his farewell and i wouldn't miss it for the world! I got off work Friday at 5 and then waited for McKayla to get home from girls camp at around 5:30 and then we were off! We drove just to Kuna, Idaho (just next to Boise, Id) where my aunt lives and we stayed with here for the night. We then got up and drove the rest of the 10 hour trip to St. Anthony, Idaho where my grandparents live. It felt like forever to get there and we had the joy of listening to Stephen sing at the top of his lungs while he had his skull candy headphones on so of course he couldn't hear himself and the extra time added on our trip since i didn't take the Idaho Falls exit and kept driving toward Montana! But we did make it and most of the family was there and it was nice to see everyone! Most of my cousins are younger than me so its always a crazy loud fun time when we get together! Everyone went off to the Ashton pool and Mckayla and me and my grandparents and one aunt decided to stay. We chilled on the couch watching the Olympics and took a nap for the afternoon. My grandpa and me went to the dump to get rid of some trash and it was nice to ride with him and just talk! Once everyone got back from the pool, the party started again! More family got in at my grandparents and it was a full house! Lots of little kids and babies! Got to see my aunt Stacies babie again who is now 5 months old and he is a cutie! And I got to see my new cousin for the first time! Little Dash that my aunt Heather and uncle Gabe adopted. I instantly feel in love with that tiny little boy!

McKayla and I escaped for a bit and went to Rexburg to pick up some pizza and return a redbox and we of course stopped at Jamba Juice for her and Jack in the Box for me to get some shakes! All the kids played outside till like midnight having the time of their lives and us older ones enjoyed just talking and chilling in the house! Everyone went to bed super late of course! Then the next morning we all got up and got ready for church and then headed to Ashton for Tyson's farewell! His talk was super good and i am so proud and excited for him! His mom and the sisters and brother sang Armies of Helaman after his talk and the spirit was just added upon even more! I love Tyson so much and am very proud of him. As he was giving his talk and talking about being committed to the Lord, i knew then and there that i wanted to marry someone who went on a mission. I'm not judgmental of boys who havn't, but going on a mission shows true committed to the Lord and i want that in my husband.

 After Sacrament meeting we headed to the park where we had a big BBQ and we visited and ate with all the family and friends. We then left straight from there and headed home. We left Steve and he is staying at my aunt Melanie's house. He will have fun with the cousins for a week and a half! Some of my best memories are staying there for a week or two in the summer when i was younger. But we started our 10 hour trek home and we decided to go all the way. It was a long trip but with 3 drivers it was nice to switch on and off. i drove from Mountain Home all the way home and it was dark and i was a little nervous because i had to watch out for deer and such. Sometimes the shadows of the other cars would scare me and i would think they were deer! i was trippin myself out! But i made it across the mountain pass safe and sound and we eventually made it home around 11:30. Super fun weekend but now back to  work.. :/ Till next time!

A little Batman and a whole lot of SILVERWOOD!!

So the new Batman movie...... LOVED IT! I went to the midnight premier with Hannah and Jose and my little brother Stephen! Now the question of what movie i liked better, Spiderman or Batman.....? I honestly loved them both! Spiderman was more entertaining and i feel in love with him! And Batman was really slow for me at first but the ending.....BLEW me away! My love for Batman went up alot! Sooo i don't know! I think i liked Spiderman better, but Batman as a super hero went up in my book!

                                 SILVERWOOD!!!

This last Monday some and friends and I went on a mini trip to Silverwood!Jenn drove their family suburban and me, Hannah, Carla, and Priscilla tagged along. We left at around 8:30 but mostly 9 because it was my fault i forgot to get motion sickness pills so we had to stop at Yokes! I seriously get so sick from amusement parks if i don't take pills and wear those pressure point bracelets on my wrist! Such a nerd, i know! The drive up was fun, we all just jammed to the radio and searched and searched for the Bieber to come on the radio. Seriously like 5 minuets before we arrived he finally made an appearance! We went inside and just went straight for the rides! It was actually really chilly there and there was no way i was getting in the water at the water park! We decided to do the wet rides first and holy crap! I got soaked! Everyone got wet but i by far got the worst of it and i was not happy about! It took hours for me to get dry again! But the roller coasters and and everything was super fun and i didn't get sick! The only downfall was that Hannah and me were so tired the whole day and didn't really have any energy. The night before we watched the final episode of the Bachelorette at midnight because HELLO we couldn't miss it and we wanted till 12 so we didn't watch it on the Sabbath. Yaaa it was 3 hours long. Didn't get in bed till like 3. So we didn't have a lot of sleep, not a good idea. With 5 of us there we took turns riding solo on rides and it wasn't bad at all. Overall, it was a fun day! Everyone but Priscilla and me had jackets and that was one thing i regretted not bringing. I was cold most of the day but soaked up the sun when it came out. We left around 8:30 i think and stopped at a gas station just outside the park for snacks and bathroom and ran into the missionaries there. And then we headed home! Poor Jenn drove the whole way and the rest of us were out! I slept like a baby! haha We added on an extra hour of our trip because Jenn accidentally took the wrong exit in Ritzville and we ended up near Moses Lake! But we made it home around 12:30 and our had a great day!

Russ Stories

I was sitting here thinking of what i could possibly post because it has been awhile and the only thing i could think of was RUSS! I have so many funny stories that involve him. So This post is all about Russ! (I will have to get some pictures of him later)

So today i walk into his house and yell "knock knock" to let him know I'm here and he usually yells something back to let me know he heard me. I walk into his living him and sit down on the chair next to him and tell him good morning. The first thing that he says to me is "Did you like join that one religion?" I was like "what?" And he said, "that one religion that puts that big dot thingy on their forehead", and then he points to my forehead. SERIOUSLY!?! I had a big pimple/zit thing there that is red and I've been waiting for it to heal! I was soo mad! But couldn't help but laugh! But the first words he says to me! I'm now thinking, wow, i didn't realize it was so big and obvious! Wonder if its the first thing that everyone else sees!

Another funny story; I was in the shed with Russ and we were cleaning it out and throwing junk after junk away. Well we pull out this out suitcase and Russ proceeds to open it. I just had this feeling that something was in there and i wasn't going to like it! I was bracing myself for a rat or something gross like that to jump out. Russ slowly opens it and BAM.... This was in it!!!!!

It was a puppet that looked like CHUCKY!!! It scared the crap out of me! Russ thought that was so funny and starts making it talk and everything! Ya wasn't happy about that!

But.. i can't give Russ all this blame without giving me some bad credit... I literally burnt his potatoes the other day. He literally ate charcoal. I've messed up countless times on his pancakes and omelets and other food I've cooked him and he has ALWAYS ate them no matter what. I am thankful for that! I am definitely learning how to cook better and that is something i need to improve. So both Russ and i are benefiting from this arrangement. I am earning money for school and improving on my cooking and cleaning, and Russ is getting many things done that he has been meaning to do and he gets to see me everyday :) haha.

Catch up!

I know it has been a while since i have last posted but really, life has just been pretty chill. I'm working as much as i can which isn't a whole lot. Big 5 literally only gives me 16 hours a week. That is not even close to enough! But every day i go over to Russ's house for a few hours. I got to take all i can get! I found out that tutition went up..... not cool! In fact, it has stressed me out even more! I panicked and started researching prices of tutition at both BYU's and such. They really are cheaper. But as i was thinking, i realized and felt that Utah State is where i want to be and where i feel i need to be. Everything will work out, just need to have faith in the Lord. I will manage even if its just by scrapping by :)
Now some good news, well not news but stuff that has happened to me that has made me smile. Russ serisouly brings a smile to my face everytime i see him! He is so funny and i enjoy his company! This might sound weird but he has become one of my best friends! I have grown attached and i am going to miss him so much when i go back to school! I sit and we just talk. He tells me stories of his childhood and past and i die of laughter from them. And i tell him my own personal stories and vent to him!

Funny story: The other day he wanted me to go spray his weeds. I went and got the weed spray thing and he came out and insisted that i ride his electric scooter thing while i sprayed. I told him i could walk and i didnt need to use it. Nope, he insisted that i use his scooter. So yes, i rode his scooter around his yard spraying weeds. I looked quite ridicoulous! I loved it!!

Well besides working i have spent time with some old friends and some new ones! Its been great! Hopefully we finally get the boat out this week! I am craving some time on the river, serisouly! Oh and another things that has brighten my days is when i get letter from my missionary friends! Love getting letters! Well that pretty much all that has been happening for me for the past couple weeks. Hopefully later i can have some good stories and pictures of something exciting that i have done haha!
