So this last week has been a busy one! I started working at Big 5! It is a lot to take in and lot to learn but I'm starting to get the ropes. I felt pretty abandon the first and all on my own, and i was in charge of the shoe section. I had so many people come to me and ask me for this shoe and that one in this size and that size and it was overwhelming! I still have a hard time looking for the dang shoes in the back! I luckily had some very patient people who very kind. I got some compliments on how i was an excellent shoe salesmen and wondering if i have been working long. I was speechless! This older gentleman told me he was going to give me a tip, he pulled out a gold coin. haha I even had people tell me i had a beautiful smile and it all just really made my day and gave me confidence. I enjoy helping people and I'm starting to like working there!
I was able to hang with friends a lot this weekend and i am so thankful! Aimee and me had some fun nights just chilling and playing with chalk! :)
On Saturday i was able to catch up with the old gang and spend time my the bestie Hannah!
Sunday, father's day was also a good day. My dad was all excited to open his presents and we had a big breakfast dinner! I love my dad a whole lot. Father's day really gets me thinking about how much he has done for me and still does. He always has my back even when he disagrees with my decisions, he LOVES giving me advice haha, he is a great example of serving others without complaining, i always catch him praying and reading his scriptures, he is always there and willing to give me a fathers blessing with no question, and he knows when to give me space when i need it! He is such a great man and i want my husband to have those same qualities and i won't accept anything less! I sure love him!
Erik and I met up at Utah State University and recently were married June 26th, 2014 in the Logan Temple. This blog is to share some of our fun and funny moments because we sure do have a lot! :)

Last week
So nothing extraordinary happened this last week but I did get the job at Big 5!! I am very happy! Its only part time and not a whole lot of hours, buts something! I plan to stay busy nannying Gizzy's kids a little bit each day and i will also be hanging out with Russ (85 year old friend) so i will still be making money with those other things also. But besides getting the job, nothing really exciting happened this last week. I nannied here and there and helped Russ every day and that's about it. I did spend an afternoon shopping with Aimee which i shouldn't have! I shouldn't be spending money! But i just had to get these cute green neon like skinny jeans carpi's at Target! And i also got some dress pants for work. It was nice to spend money on myself, i haven't done that in while!
Besides all that i take Stephen to the gym almost everyday to shoot hoops and help him get him better! He is gonna be a flippin baller! Also i went to McKayla's basketball tournament. HOLY COW! She is another Rondo! haha I couldn't believe how good she played! She has gotten so much better and i am so proud of her! She was killin it on the floor!
Later that night i went to a Fever game with some friends and then today i went to Singles Ward.(Surprisingly i really enjoyed it and am planning on going there for now on!)
Sorry its short and has no pictures. But that pretty much sums up my last week! Till next time! ;)

Very Blessed!
I can't even express how grateful i am today. Since being home from school i have struggled. I have been trying to find work so that i can earn the money i need for next school year. After a month of being home, i have been very close to just giving up. I have been praying like crazy for help and asking for the strength and faith to keep on going. I knew if i did my part and all i could do in looking for work, then the Lord will do his and help me.
A ward member helped me out and got me a mini job last week. I have been going over everyday for a few hours to an 85 year old gentleman's house and helping him clean and de-junk and cook him dinner. His name is Russ and i love him! He is so funny and very sarcastic. I love teasing him and giving him a hard time. Seeing him just living his life and keep on going being the age he is, is inspiring! I love helping everyday, The only downside is that his house reeks of cigarette smoke. His past wife was a heavy heavy smoker and so now the house smells just like it. When i leave his house, my clothes my hair and even my skin smells like it. Definitely another reminder of why i will never smoke!
And then i got a call. Big 5 called me and wanted an interview! I couldn't believe it! Now this isn't a place a really saw myself working at or my first choice, but i am done being picky and i am grateful for any work! So today i went to the interview and i got the job!! Its only part time but its a job and a start! He interviewed me and i can't believe i was hired! I have no retail experience, i mentioned on my application that i may be working wheat harvest, and i mention how i need more hours and may look for another job. It just didn't seem like i was worth it because i am only here for the summer and may or may not reduce hours there for something else. But amidst that he gave me the job. I know this was because of Heavenly Father, it had to be! Oh and i had to take a math test.... i was more nervous about that than the actually interview! It was kinda hard! i haven't done math in forever and being timed and having no calculator, i actually had to really think and i sweated a bit haha
I know the Lord had a hand in this. Just when i was about to break and give up, he stepped in and lifted me up and gave me a boost to keep going. I am humbled and grateful and my love for my Heavenly Father has grown so much!!
Oh and this weekend was graduation and seminary graduation. It was nice to go to those and support my friends who are now getting ready for the big world!!
