Serving the LORD!

Today the sun is shining and its absolutely beautiful outside! To make it even better, i came home and found a letter from Elder German Ibanez!!! My whole day was made! This week has been stressful with classes and studying and trying to find time for everything. So to come home and get a letter from him and just hearing how everything is going for him, really made me happy! :)

I am so proud of him! He is going to do so much great work serving the Lord. For some reason, having my friends being on missions now, missionary work really touches me and means a lot to me! The thought of going out and saving families and telling them that they can be together with their families FOREVER, its just so important! Maybe i might go on a mission if the time comes.... who knows! All i know is that bringing people to the gospel is BEAUTIFUL! i am so proud of my Hermy!!

Festival of Colors!!!

Today was the Festival of Colors in Spanish Fork, Utah! Kelcey, Rachel, Jacy, Marc, and I went! I had no idea what to expect from it! We got there and took a bunch of pictures with the Hindu statues, animals, and all that jazz. We toured the temple and even participated in the prayer ritual and got the Bindi (red dot on forehead) ritual.

It was such a warm day and very pretty! We then went and bought our bags of color flour/chalk whatever it is! As we walked around and such we kept getting pelted with a rainbow of colors! I must say that i did enjoy throwing it back in random people's faces! As the countdown started for the first throwing, i was clueless to what was going to happen! 3..2..1.. BAM! I honestly couldn't see a thing! There was so much color dust everywhere! I inhaled it, it got in my eyes, nose, ears, it was CRAZY! I loved it! It was soooo much fun! The 2 hour ride back to Logan though, was not that fun.... i felt so disgusting and i just wanted to get home and shower! Festival of Colors was AWESOME!!

Festival Of Colors 2012!!!!!!

Babababa BANG!!!

So when i have an idea, i just like to go for it and take risks! So i had this idea to cut my bangs and have the bangs across my forehead. So of course i go for it and i cut my bangs! I'm so sure how i feel about them. I don't think they look bad but i also don't think they are the most flattering thing. But what they heck, why not give them a try! Doesn't hurt and hair grows back! Now i know how i look with them and if i never want them again i won't! haha I think what i dislike the most is that my hair looks more brown now. Hair that use to never see the sun is now up and the blonde is now under! But thats something i can fix!

SpRiNg BrEaK!!!

Spring Break i went to good ole Kennewick! I was really excited to go and just spend the week with my Family. Well..... I got there and the kids were in school, and then they had sports and work and scouts. So basically i hardly saw them! I'd spend the day with my mom and we would just watch movies and sleep :) it was nice! My mom and I did go on a bike ride and i found that quite fun!

One of the days i went to the Farm with my Dad and weighed trucks all morning. It was reall neat to be there with him and to get to see what he does and the people he works with. I really liked Maria!

My mom then left for Utah for a weekend with the girls and i was home.... i slept and slept and slept some more! I had nothing to do! I was able to go to lunch with a few friends that were still in highschool and that was really nice seeing them!

But i only got to spend time with my siblings basically thursday and friday. Me and McKayla and Janey went to my brothers mini little church basketball tournament. That was fun watching him and seeing some of my other guy friends. Me and Steve then of course went to 7-11 (our tradishion) and took the slurppe picture hahaha and then we went on a long bike ride.

Friday McKayla went to the Highschool Madhatters performance and that was neat to watch! We then Went to My FroYo and i got to see my BESTEST friend ever!

Then saturday and sunday i went to Aunt Michelle's and hung with my aunts and unlce and my MOM!! So fun being with them!

Overall, it was super nice to just have a relaxing week. I love my family so much! My soblings are my world and i wish i could spend more time with them! My mom is my best friend! And my i love my dad beyond words! :) :)

"Girls Just Wanna have Fun!"

So me and Kelcey decided to give "The Blast from the Past" skating night a chance. We got all dressed up, i wore Shana red puffy sleeves 80s dress and Kelcey wore her sick leapard print tight leggings!! Oh and i cant forget the red lipstick!!! I was a little dissipointed in the other peoples outfits!! Mine was awesome and i was very proud of it!! People were definetly looking at me and i loved it! JEALOUS!!

We get there and put on our skates and head to the rink! We started skating, we used the actual skates, not the blades. They are harder than i thought! I had a time dancing and balancing without falling! But it was way fun!

There were guys there who were pros! Skating off the walls, break dancing and everything! I had this guy teach me how to get low and skate on one foot with the other in the air..... lets say im still working on it and that i fell quite a few times!!! hahaha But i so will get it good someday!

We are going skating every week! No way im gonna miss it! SOOO FUN!!!!!!!!!!!! I am for sure getting more of my friends to go now!!!! :)
