Jimmers Allstar Game!!!!!!

Last Thursday i went to Provo with my cousins to the Allstar game! We were all so excited! The boys made me drive up cause they don't like to drive in the city since they are from tiny little towns. Well..... let me tell you! Salt Lake city traffic is nothing like Kennewick traffic, its ten times WORSE!!! But i made it there safely! Well we got to the gym like 2 hours earlier so we went inside and the guys were practicing so we went down close to watch. Well you see, i my sister helped me make a shirt for Nolan Smith! He played for Duke and just got drafted to the NBA, Portland Trailblazers. We yelled his name to get his attention so he could see my shirt, he looked and gave me the biggest smile!!!! I literally died! A guy next to me with a professional camera got pictures of it. He emailed it to me and that picture is definitely going on our hot man wall!!!! hahahaha The game was awesome and so much fun! I got to bond with my cousins even more, i love those guys so much!!!! They are my best friends! Being at BYU i am so glad i went to Utah State. I liked it there, but it just wasn't me, Utah State is where i belong! And the whole thing with Jimmer... yeah he is a beast and i like him and all...but  i feel like Provo is all about Jimmer, what about the other players!?!?! I just got really annoyed at the game how everything is about Jimmer, not really my style! I'm more of a team person, not solo. But oh well, it was awesome and i had so much fun! Plus i got to see Jaxon and i haven't seen him in 3 years, and i got to see Ryan and Mindy for a bit. It was nice, I've missed everyone!

Electronic free weekend!!!!

This weekend i went up to West Haven with my cousins to spend a couple of days with my aunt and uncle and their family! We had a ton of fun!! Got there and just spent time talking and hanging out and pigging out on food! And my aunt did our laundry, she's the best! Then us girls went to a movie together, "How does she do it", while the boys stayed home and played video games, typical hahaha. The next day we went bowling, bumper cars, mini golf, and watched movies! That whole weekend i shut my phone off and it was way nice!!! I didn't have to worry about checking it to see if i had any messages, and i was able to just enjoy the time i had with my family. I also didn't use my computer at all! I defiantly recommend doing that every once in a while! Now don't get me wrong, it was way nice to turn it back on and use electronics, but the time off was needed! But i had a super fun weekend with my family and no homework!!!

First Football Game As A College Student!!!

Yesterday was my first college football game experience!!! It was crazy fun! I went there super early with Aimee and we got the fifth row at the fifty yard line!!!! We had some crazy people standing by us but it was so much fun. College football games are way more intense than high school ones, let me tell you!!! Holy crap is Utah State student section mean!! I couldn't believe some of the things that came out of some peoples mouth! And some of our chants..... WOW!!!! But i love the energy and the rival and competition! But... They are way longer games and my legs were killing me after just the first quarter! When we sang some of their songs and chants like "I Believe" or "Winner, Losers" and such, i got the chills! I felt like i belonged to this huge mass of people i  felt like this was my team! It was an incredible feeling!
I have some pictures from last night and some videos of what our cheers sound like!

This last weekend was so much fun! Since driving home was kinda out of the question since it takes a whole day to drive, i went to Aberdeen, Idaho with my cousin! Me and Shana and Aimee and my two cousins Jaiden and Tyson went up. We went up Saturday morning and spent the whole day boating with the family. We had four of our families come up and our grandparents. It was crazy fun! I was able to get more sun and i definitely missed being out in the water! That night i went back to Jaiden's house and we just played volleyball and watched movies.
Then the next day, Sunday, after church, me and Aimee went and visited our friend Brandon because he has family in Aberdeen and was down there. I was excited to see him since he leaves for his mission in a little bit and there is a good chance i won't make it to his farewell. Si it was pretty neat that we all were down there at the same time! My cousin also let me and Aimee and cut his hair..... crazy i know! I had no idea what i was doing but hey, it didn't look that bad!!!
Then Monday, i went dirt bike riding for the first time! It was crazy fun and i learned really quick! Me and my two cousins rode dirt bikes down to a cave while the family drove down and met us there. It took about an hour to get there and i rode the bike the whole time without crashing once! I did although have a few close calls! We rode on all sorts of different paths; dirt, gravel, weeds and you name it! It took me a while to learn how to use the breaks so i had a few turns where i almost totally biffed it! But i didn't! When we got to the cave we all climbed down and explored. It was called dead man's cave and it was sick!!!! It was pitch dark without flashlights and we had to crawl and go on our stomachs to get through some spots! And BATS!!! They were everywhere! I learned to just not look up and you wouldn't see them! I put my hood on and it stayed on! I did get hit in the back of the head by a bat and i wasn't too happy about that! hahaha When we left and on the way back, i decided to see how fast i could go on the bike before freaking out, i got up to 65 mph! And it was scary! We went over this cattle bridge thing and i didn't slow down in time for it.... lets just say that not only did the bike get air, but i did too! I don't know how i managed to stay on the bike but i did!
My weekend was just great and it is so nice to be able to spend time with family i normally don't see a lot. It did make me miss my family some, but it was nice to be able too be surrounded by loved ones! :)
You can't really tell from the picture but my face was filthy!!!!

First week of college!!!!!!!

College life is CRAZY!!!! I love it! I'm out all night for however late i want and doing whatever i want! It's quit nice. Classes though, i must say are way faster paced and you have to know when you have homework and when its due without being told! I love love my roommate Colette! She is a junior and super crazy fun! We are having great times! My girl Aimee lives across the street and we what can i say, we are besties!! My two cousins Jaiden and Tyson live across the street too so i hang with them a lot and its super nice to see them everyday. I've really missed them. And my sissy Shana, its like we never were separated, right beck to being super close, i love it!! It also nice to have my grandparents live in Logan too. I can see them a lot more! Although i must say, when i said goodbye to my family, i broke down. It was hard like i knew it would be. I finally realized how much my parents did for me and how much my siblings loved me and how much i wish i would have spend more of my time with them. I have some regrets, but i need to move on and change and be grateful for the experiences. I really love my family!!!

So yesterday was my first class for institute. I'm taking the Book of Mormon class. Holy Cow!!!! Just from that first day, i felt the spirit so strong. I know without a doubt that Heavenly Father loves me and that Christ died for me and that the Book of Mormon really is the word of God and will help and guide you. This class is so much more reverent than institute back home. It actually is fun to go too and there are some cute boys!!! hahaha I didn't think i would really enjoy going to institute, but after yesterday, it the one class i look forward to the most. My teacher challenged us to give Heavenly Father 10% of our time a day to him. And if we did that and we promised not to study or do homework on Sunday, that we will become closer to him and our testimony of the Book of Mormon will be stronger than ever, and that we will do well in our school work. I'm taking that challenge and that i truly believe if i do that, then my rewards will be great! :)
