Christmas!!! :)

This Christmas was great! I have enjoyed being home and spending time with my family; playing constant games, going to countless movies, and just relaxing. It's nice to sleep in and not be stressed out with school, work and money! I just wanted to express how much i love my family!!

Oh the joys of being a college student....POOR!!!

So its winter break and I'm home for three weeks. I don't have a job to come back to and i really need to start saving money for next year of college. So desperate in fact that I've started babysitting again..... i told myself after  the other high school i was! But i really needed some money!! The kids i babysit are absolutely adorable. One is 7 and the other is 3 and the baby a little over 1. Today i was a hard day for me. I babysat for eight hours and the baby cried non stop for 4 of those hours. And then the three year old peed her pants and made a mess and then refused to go to bed! I was exhausted by the time the parents came home. I'm not trying to complain because I'm glad i found a way to earn money for a few weeks, but oh man, kids can be tough. It definitely has made me not want to get married and start a family any time soon! So not ready for that!! I just need to keep the money coming in!! I got a ways to go for having enough money for fall semester tuition next year! This girl pays her own way through college!! PROUD OF THAT!!! :)

First semester at  college and i was nervous!! But having my cousins and my sister here, was more than i could have asked for! Today is the end of that first semester and I'm really sad. Jaiden and Tyson packed up and went home, not just for the holidays, but for good. They aren't coming back because they both will be headed out on missions  next year. I didn't want them to go, but they needed to. Shana is done with undergraduate school. She got an internship in Dallas, Texas and will be leaving for there shorter after Christmas. That is such a great opportunity for her and i am so proud of her, but i don't want her to leave me too!
I am terrified for next semester! my best friends have left me! Jaiden and Tyson ARE my best friends. Shana IS my best friend. This sucks!

I'm glad they are moving on with their lives. And I'm glad i got to have the best first semester of college with them! Sure do love them tons!! :)

Today i just felt like writing about my sister Mckayla. I love her. She is my best friend. I'm very protective of her. I miss her a lot. She is beautiful. Courageous. Stubborn. Tough. Always right. Hilarious. Sarcastic. Weird. Serviceable. Sympathetic. Honest. Quiet. Loud. Smart. Envied of. She is perfect the way she is.

Last night i watch the new movie Warrior, and it was about two brother. It made me think of Mckayla. How i missed her and wished i was home and supporting her and helping her through basketball season. Its at odd times when you realize how much some people mean to you and you wish you would have spend more time with them and done more things with them. I sure do love her! <3

Homesick...

Being away in college hasn't been easy for me!!! I am one of those kids that is always homesick! But i find myself doing better everyday. Having my my best friend cousins here, Jaiden and Tyson, have helped so much!! Spending time with them and going home with them on the weekends to see my other family members!

BiRtHdAy WeEk!!!! :)

This last week i considered it to be my birthday week!! Went to chili's with Colette and it was delish!

And then Thursday morning since it was Fall break and i didn't have classes Thursday or Friday my uncle Chris came and picked me up. I spent the weekend with them! Thursday afternoon i helped my aunt with my cousin Matthew's Halloween party, it was so cute!

 I then hung with my cousins Josh and Mason and we watched movies and YouTube videos. And then Friday i helped with my cousin Rachel's Halloween party! There were twenty 9 year old!! I was in charged of fear factor and it was so funny to watch the girls!

   Mason is 16 now!!! Just driving around with him rocking out to music!

Shana and Kaela then came over and stayed the night and then we went to Salt Lake Saturday to The Gateway and went shopping! My parents sent me a gift card so i went and blew it all and bought some cute clothes!

 We then went back to my aunt and uncles and they took us out for pizza! Shana and Kaela then left back for Logan because they had a Halloween party. My fam then took me to go see Cowboys and Aliens, and i loved it!!! There was one part that kind of scared me and i found myself in the lap of my 6 year old cousin hahahaha. We went back home then and i found out josh signed me up for ldssingles.com as my birthday present hahaha What a fun night! Josh asked me for a list of what i want for my birthday and i decided to put down impossible things like an airplane, to meet Betty white, a car, etc. I then put a boyfriend...hahaha well we know where that lead me! Then Sunday afternoon after church, they made me a birthday dinner, sweet pork burritos, my favorite, and cake and ice cream!! Shana came down for it and it was great!

Then we and Shana headed home and i had friends waiting for me with dinner and more cake!

 I had a great birthday! I intentionally wanted to go home because i am super homesick, but being with my extended family helped a lot! Shana was the best too! Driving down there with me and spending the day with me! I love her a lot! And Michelle and Chris my aunt and uncle were so amazing!! They spoiled me rotten and i love them and am so grateful for them!!

Colette was best too! She made amazing cakes for me and my birthday buddy, her boyfriend, Brian! And she got me an elephant pillow pet what i wanted!!! I named Tantor after the movie Tarzan!!!

 I am soooo grateful for the people in my life who love me! I also then skyped with my family and they sang to me and i opened my present in front of them! Not gonna lie... i cried! Me being an emotionally baby and super homesick! But it was nice to see their faces!

Mitch my great friend, threw me and Brian and Stevie and dance birthday party the week before! It was crazy fun with the strobe light and all! I am so blessed with all the people in my life! :)

It's been real CRAZY!!!!

It has been crazy these last couple of weeks! I have like no time for anything it seems lol. But i have found out that yes, college is harder than high school. After not doing so hot on a couple of exams, i realized that college isn't all about the social life, there is work too! After class i work at the on campus library and that is where i get all my hw and studying done, so that is a plus! I also meet so many people working there, i love it!!! I have had a lot of fun so far and have made some great friends! But i have definitely missed home and am home sick! I miss my Sib's a lot but lately i have been missing McKayla A LOT!!!! She has so many stories from high school and she is growing up and i want to be there for her! Same with Steve, i wish i could go to all his sport games and be there for him! He is such a stud and makes me so proud!

Tonight me and Aimee went to some friends house and carved pumpkins! It was a lot of fun! I actually really enjoy cleaning pumpkins out now, i use to hate it!

Oh Brandon was in Logan last Saturday and me and Aimee got go to the football game with him! He leaves on his mission in a couple of weeks so it was super exciting to see him again before he left since we wouldn't get the chance to go to his farewell! I'm gonna miss that kid! we sure did have quite a few memories! hahaha

Also, i love being here because i see my big sis all the time! i have definitely missed that the last couple of years! It nice to know she is just 5 minutes away if i need her! We have gotten so much closer and she is one of my best friends!!!
